Moving On

Coachella 2011

Went to the Scenester/ Hipster convention 2011 (also known as Coachella) again this year. I didn't go to the show but went to the parties, laid by the pool and worked on my tan. Had a fabulous time mingling at the 944 + AX Neon Carnival with celebs and the non celebs riding the rides, playing games, dancing and drinking.

(Did I mention I have an unhealthy likeness to quasi/ semi-hipster boys? And why I say it is unhealthy is because here I was with all these adorable Ray Ban wayfarers, v-neck toten' boys that never seem to go for the quirky asian girl who has more of an affinity to hip hop music than the usual dance music. White Girl problems I tell you.)

That last sentence was ironic just in itself...

A Girl Can Never Have Enough Shoes

I finally got a chance to clear and clean out my wall of shoes. Three bags of shoes to give away, added some more shoes to the wall that have collectively gathered in the corner of my room, and a beautiful, organized result.

As I say, when your closet is organized, than your life is organized. And that includes your shoe closet too my friends.

Stella McCartney Spring

At first I was like eh, about Stella McCartney's latest line. Flower wallpaper prints aren't really my thing.

But theeeeeennnn, I saw this dress and the back of it and it was love at first sight.
Wouldn't it be perfect to wear it to a spring wedding in Santa Barbara or a summer garden party in the Hamptons?
(and here I am thinking, I am nowhere close to that kind of lifestyle, where I wear my Stella McCartney dress to a Hamptons garden party with tea cups. But hey, a girl can dream.)
