The only reason I need to buy an iPad...

http://www.chanel.com/

Let's do the math:
Chanel iPad case: $1,555
Apple iPad: $500

So basically the Chanel iPad case is 3x more than the iPad. Totally logical.

Paris Je T'aime

If only my desk was this cute...

and as clean as this.

The Hunger Games

Why did I stay up to 2:30am on a school night finishing the Hunger Games trilogy?

You HAVE to read these books. They are so Ah-MAZing. Without giving too much, it's set in post-apocalyptic times where children are sent from 12 districts to fight and kill each other till one remains known as the Hunger Games. (I know, right?!?!)

Lionsgate acquired the rights to the book (though I personally hope they sell it to a studio that can do it right. Don't want another Twilight on our hands *pointing finger at Summit*.) People have made their own versions of a trailer on YouTube also.

Actually the song from the last post would fit perfectly with the books. Look, I can go on and on but all I'm trying to say is put the books on your Holiday wish list and you will not be sorry.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds

I absolutely love this song. It's so devastatingly haunting and beautiful wrapped into one. Not to mention it's in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. It fits perfectly in the scene between Hermione and Harry. (I know, but I just can't stop posting about Harry Potter.)

They all look so bad ass.

Kaan-yee who?

In light of his album just releasing, something to take his ego down a notch.

9 Reasons We're Glad We Don't Live in NYC

We all know there is a rivalry between West Coast vs. East Coast. Tupac Vs. Biggie. LA vs. NYC.

So Guest of Guest NYC took it upon themselves to write 9 Reasons Why We're Glad We Don't Live in LA. And in true dance off form, Guest of Guest LA reciprocated with a much stronger argument. (They mentioned Lakers, of course I'm going to be biased.)

There was a point in my life where I wanted to make the move to the Big Apple. But as time has passed by, I can't deny it, I live and breathe LA in all it's smog sitting in traffic in 80 degree weather on a November day.

Business Card

What a creative way to hand your business card to the falsely accused.

I would definitely hire this lawyer based on his business card in defending me when I am arrested for breaking into the Hello Kitty exhibition.

Quirk of the Day:Horse Guide

You think you've heard it all...
We all know about guide dogs but a guide horse? All I remember is my tennis coach used to own horses. I used to tell him I wanted to have a horse and he'd be like "Aly, a horse is like a big kid." I don't think I want a big kid leading me around...

Sanrio's 50th

If you know me, you know I am obsessed with all things Sanrio and Hello Kitty. It's pretty cool, especially the art, but you had to pay for tickets to participate in well everything, except to go into their Pop-Up Store. And you know, when you go into a Sanrio store you're bound to buy something.
It's here till November 21. I recommend going at night to avoid the lines. Parking is $10, but somehow I drove into the parking lot across where no one was guarding. I suggest doing that- we are in a recession.
