Obsessions aren't always a bad thing...

Do you know what I have been going through to try to get these absolutely gorgeous orgasms of shoes on my feet??? I'm guessing no.

Let me break it down for you:
- I have put my name down for the LA Melrose store, NY Soho Store, and the ATL store and have repeatedly call them to make sure they have my name since January
-Unfortunately the LA and ATL store only got the smallest size of a 6.5 MEN. What's my shoe size? oh yeah 6.5 WOMEN
-Not to be deterred, it's only a number right? I have been calling the NY store for a week straight with my gift card in my hot little hand. (they don't take credit card over the phone... def did my research here)
- I come to find out the Soho store has a release party at 8pm yesterday. that's 5pm my time. perfect. not until the WHOLE nation has been calling one store including the LA adidas store (i should know, I called them too figuring they would have some secret pass word to get through- they don't)
- I repeatedly call the store for ONE WHOLE hour only to find out the size I want was sold out in 2 minutes...and yet at the same time it's not really my size...it's a guy size.
-Picture this, small asian girl at work repeatedly redialing, sweating profusely and looking like she is going to cry and gripping the phone Slumdog Millionaire style waiting for some voice to answer.
- Then the store employee informs me that I should try Japan and Hong Kong AND they would have women sizes. There is a god!
- So I call my mom and tell her I need my aunt in Hong Kong's number asap and she asks me why. I tell her. she asks me how much. I tell her. She berates me and reminds me we are in a recession where people have no jobs and I put the phone away from my ear until I think she is done. Needless to say I remind her that this is my birthday present. She disagrees. The fashionable (I would consider this me) and Practicality (my mother for sure) have never quite gone well together
- I also contact my friend who has a girlfriend from Japan where *fingers crossed* she will contact her brother about the shoes
-I have also facebooked my cousins to check in Hong Kong
- I'm hoping they can get me the phone numbers of the stores in Japan and Hong Kong so I can just handle it myself
-sigh and my eyes always dilate and my heart skips a beat every time I see a picture of those Jeremy Scott Gold Wing Shoes

le sigh. the end.
